Just hours before the United States initiated the liberation of Iraq, Democrat Robert Byrd took to the floor of the Senate and
slurred, "Today I weep for my country. No more is the image of America one of strong, yet benevolent peacekeeper."
Conveniently, Byrd's white hood soaked up his tears.
